Language

Choose the language you want to edit.

View webpage

Open the current page in a new browser tab.

Edit page properties

Click here to access the page properties. The following page will address the fields and their options in detail.

Flash symbol

Clear this page’s cache.

This ist very useful if your changes do not appear on the website. 

Reload Symbol

This button reloads the page edit layout.

Share Symbol

This lets you bookmark the current page or copy its URL.

Notice about languages

The default, primary language of the TUMCS websites is english. As translations are just a layer of different contents on top, structural modification like adding new content elements are only possible in the english layout.

Standard

A standard page to display content, arranged in content elements.

Shortcut

This type will link to another page in the Typo3 tree. This is excellent to prevent duplicate content.

Use this if you want to link to a page in multiple locations of your menu structure. Create the page as usual in the most appropriate location, then creat shortcuts on all other desired menu positions. 

An example of this is the Green Office page, which appears in Campus Straubing » Campus as well as in Sustainability.
